In this chapter we present the most important aspects of cultural otherness, we learn to reflect on our feelings of otherness and to use these for intercultural learning.

Not only in intercutural encounters we sometimes perceive a feeling of otherness or strangeness, which is not necessariliy a negative feeling. In trainings for Intercultural Competence we try to use these moments of otherness to learn - about ourselves and about others.
