In this chapter we give an introduction to the topic of culture. What actually is culture and which models can be used to describe culture?
We will keep in mind the capability to distinguish between individual, situational and cultural influences (see 1.3 Identity) and also, that:
"One's own culture is the biggest danger and the most dangerour 'stumbling rock' on the way to intercultural competence".
