Welcome to the EPICUR Hubs
What are the EPICUR Hubs?
- The EPICUR Hubs are a centralised platform for learning, networking and knowledge-sharing across the EPICUR European University Alliance, ultimately supporting career development for early career researchers.
- The Sustainable Transformation Hub launches in 2025/26 as the first of these hubs. It offers a space for engaging in research-based courses, seasonal schools, conferences and collaborative projects focused on sustainable transformation.
- Three additional hubs focused on Global Health, European Values and Future Intelligence will follow in 2027/28, further expanding the network and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across Europe.

Who are the EPICUR Hubs for?
- Master’s students interested in pursuing a research career
- Early Career Researchers (PhD/Doctoral candidates, postdocs, and researchers on their way to becoming a full professor)

- On January 16th, 2026, a virtual networking session on the topic of sustainable regional development will take place! Target groups are early-career researchers and master's students.
FEATURED OFFERINGS AND EVENTS
- This interdisciplinary course is designed for early career researchers to explore pressing environmental and sustainability challenges through a transdisciplinary perspective. Covering key topics such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), natural resource management, and digital innovation, the course dives into both theoretical foundations and practical applications.
